Michelin’s Red Guide, published annually, is best known for awarding the Michelin stars to the European hotel and Restaurant industry.
This year, the coveted three-stars were awarded to 5 new restaurants in France: Lameloise (Chagny, pictured), le Meurice (Paris), Astrance (Paris, phone: 01-40-50-84-40), Le Pre Catelan (Paris) and Pic (Valence). The following three-stars were deleted at La Ferme de mon Pere, Buerehiesel, L’Esperance and demoted from three-stars to two-stars were Le “Cinq” at the Four Seasons George V hotel in Paris and Taillevent, which has had three stars since 1973.
