Book Buzz: Eat, Pray, Love21.05.07 |
I can not say enough good things about this book. In fact, I am hanging on the last chapters for fear of her story ending. I know it’s silly.
Whether you are taking a long flight, lounging by the pool or just looking for a good read, Eat, Pray, Love a memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert is my summer pick.
A women who had it all, Elizabeth Gilbert (thirty-something) decides to give up her perfect little life and spend a year traveling in search of self-discovery across Italy (for pleasure), India (for prayer) and Indonesia (for balance). Men will love this book, too.
Paramount Pictures picked up the rights to this book late in 2006. Julia Roberts will star, Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck creator) will be adapting the screenplay and directing, and Brad Pitt with Dede Gardner will produce. Coming soon, 2008.
For those of you that have read her book, check out these photo’s (scroll to the bottom) of her travels during Eat, Pray, Love.
