The latest luxury hotel to open in North County San Diego is The Grand Del Mar located in East Del Mar, California close to the Del Mar Village and Rancho Santa Fe delivers a world class resort experience.

The 249-room masterpiece is just minutes from San Diego’s renowned beaches, restaurants and boutiques, and a short commute to Southern California’s best attractions. Featuring San Diego’s only Tom Fazio-designed golf course, a 21,000-square-foot renaissance inspired spa, fitness center, dining, and shopping, there are few places as well appointed for the highly discerning traveler.

In order to keep up with the competition (thankfully) L’Auberge Del Mar Resort & Spa will close on Nov. 19 to revamp the 120 room hotel in the realm of $25 million. Due to reopen in June of 2008 with freshened guest rooms, lobby, restaurant, new spa and an outdoor wedding/event area.
