Every year during the holidays, we make the beautiful drive from our home in Southern California to visit family in Northern California. Along the way, we like to enjoy the scenery, crisp clean air, pine scented trees, gourmet food and of course, stop off to rest. Oh, did I mention we do this with our beloved dogs? Yep, we just could not bear to celebrate the holidays without them.

It has been difficult in the past to find hotels that accept pets that also fit our high standards of lodging. Choices for fabulous hotels that are pet friendly are out there, but they are often discreet about advertising to the public. Once you are there, you find pet lovers alike, coming back year after year, as they are extremely loyal to the hotel establishments of there choice.
