Spring Fever: Colony Palms Hotel19.04.07 |
The Colony Palms Hotel is now taking reservations after just completing a $15 million renovation. The latest boutique hotel to hit Palm Springs exudes Hollywood glamour and why shouldn’t it? Designed by Martin Lawrence Bullard, the hotel was formerly a gambling speakeasy and brothel by Purple Gang mobster Al Wertheimer in the 1930’s, later the hotel was renamed The Howard Manor when Robert and Andrea Leeds Howard (owners of thoroughbred Sea Biscuit) took control.
60 Guest rooms, casitas and suites with vintage touches throughout and all with the modern conveniences of technology, including WiFi and flat panel LCD’s. Best of all, there is a new spa and pool with poolside cabanas.
