Firmdale Hotels, one of my favorite hoteliers in London, offers six beautifully done boutique hotels scattered throughout city. The Soho Hotel, Charlotte Street Hotel, Covent Garden Hotel, The Pelham Hotel, Knightsbridge Hotel, Number Sixteen and their 7th hotel due to open in April 2007, Haymarket hotel.

Attracting a film industry crowd, Firmdale offers four ’state of the art’ screening rooms located in the Covent Garden Hotel, Charlotte Street Hotel and The Soho Hotel. Each of these hotels has a ‘Weekend Film Club’ where guests and members of the public can dine in the resident restaurant and then see the chosen film of the week. Movies vary from week to week. Guests can enjoy a special package with an overnight stay, English breakfast, film club tickets and a late check out. Three course dinner and movie costs GBP 35 per person excluding drinks and service.

Haymarket Hotel due to open in April 2007 is situated next to the famous Haymarket Theatre Royal on the corner of Suffolk Place and Haymarket. The building designed in the 19th century by John Nash will have 55 rooms and suites, private 4-level townhouse, 18 metre pool with bar, gym, lounge and nightclub.
