Just back from Baja Mexico, a short jaunt from my San Diego abode for a little surf, sand, margi’s and guacamole. Much to my surprise, concrete buildings are popping up along the baja coastline taking shape in the form of ’super’ high rise condo-style hotels. What was even more surprising was the fact that Donald Trump billboards lined the toll roads from Tijuana to Ensenada. Oh yes, he is planning to conquer Baja.

The first Baja Trump offering set a one day real estate sales record for Mexico at $122 million in December 2006. The second phase is now available with prices starting in the mid to upper $300,000’s. Each residence will have stunning views of the Pacific and Coronado Islands. The Baja Trump Ocean Club Resort is expected to receive a five-star rating like all of the Trump condo hotels. Trump Baja real estate residences will include studio, one, two, and three bedroom options and range in size from 500 sq. ft. to 2,000 sq. ft.
